Scholarly - a new iPad app
Some of the planned features for the first release (launching Sept. 30th):
- Google Scholar mashed with Mendeley
- Fun, Twitter-inspired UI
Slated for future releases:
- Finds commonalties between your existing papers, including common references
- For each document, shows related papers in Mendeley, your existing collection, and the papers in your Mendeley groups.
- Imports PDFs from your Mendeley account or from other iPad apps. Supports iAnnotate and other annotation apps
- Recommends new Mendeley groups. Recommends related blogs. When you visit author websites, Google Scholar, etc, shows you paper titles already in your collection.
